Past Developments and Events

Morrow Center
Exhibition Hall

The exhibition hall stage was completed mid-to-late 2024, and includes five LED screens, of which the main screen is 26 feet wide by 10 feet high

Lunar
New Year

Morrow’s Lunar New Year honors traditional Asian heritage and culture. The city hosts Golden Voice, a singing competition, and Miss Morrow, a beauty pageant, during the main event.

Dog Park

The dog park on Reynolds Road includes the installation of equipment for dogs to play on, dog bag stations, and fenced areas for smaller and bigger dogs

Black
History Month

The city celebrates black history month annually by hosting an extravagant celebration of black culture through the eras. Hosted during this event is a fashion show, arts and film festival, and of course, performances of all ages!

Current Developments

Angel Creek Community Center

Upon completion, Angel Creek Community Center is a vibrant hub that will bring together people of all ages. With its welcoming atmosphere and focus on fostering connection, it serves as a cornerstone for local residents to gather, learn, and grow.

Clayton County Convocation Center

The Clayton County Convocation Center, boasting an arena of around 8,500 square feet with breakout rooms, will host basketball games, graduations, and events for all momentous occasions

The District (Boardwalk)

The District is the City of Morrow’s outdoor event venue that hosts around 9 events per year! Our newest addition, the boardwalk, will be a centralized hub for shopping and activities, and a nexus for Morrow’s smart city plans, including a new public Wi-Fi venture
