Residents and visitors can be assured that they are protected at all times by Morrow’s Fire Department. We strive to minimize the loss of life and property by providing efficient and effective fire suppression, emergency medical aid, fire prevention and public education services to the community. This couldn’t be accomplished without employing firefighters who are dedicated to providing a high degree of professionalism combined with constant operational readiness. Our city officials provide us with modern, state-of-the-art equipment to ensure the overall mission of our department.

On January 1, 2018, the Morrow Fire Department achieved an ISO Class 1 rating. ISO, Insurance Services Office, rates fire departments on a scale that ranges from 1 to 10, with 1 being the best, or exemplary. Businesses and homeowners alike benefit from this excellent rating by typically paying less for property insurance. This rating puts the Morrow Fire Department in the top 3% of fire departments in the State of Georgia.

The Morrow Fire Department currently employs 30 full time and 1 part time members, 11 of which are paramedics. Our department utilizes two advanced life support ambulances, two advanced life support engines, a 105′ ladder truck, a command vehicle and three staff vehicles to ensure the maximum safety of residents, visitors and businesses.

Representatives from our department travel throughout Morrow to teach children and adults about fire safety. Each year, our members visit our local schools and teach hundreds of children fire safety which include, Stop Drop & Roll and Get Out, Stay Out among others.

Morrow Fire Department provides EMS services inside the incorporated city limits. This includes ambulance transportation for emergency calls. The billing for this service is handled through a third party vendor called EMSMC. If you have questions or concerns about a bill, or if you need a copy of your patient records, please contact the billing company directly.
